Camacho was first produced in the 1960s by Simon Camacho in Nicaragua. Today, the Camacho medium to full-bodied brand is manufactured in Honduras by Tabacos Rancho Jamastran, owned by the Eiroa family. Camacho cigars are made with the original Cuban Criollo and Corojo seed tobaccos grown in Honduras' Jamastran Valley, in the Eiroa's farms. Camacho Corojo cigars have been described as "the best habano outside of Cuba" by its makers. The cigars got outstanding ratings in blind tests against Cuban cigars. The Camacho brand will be most appreciated by the experienced cigar aficionado who enjoys a full-bodied, strong cigar.
Camacho cigars are distributed through quality retailers and online cigar stores.
